Space Needle Saturday

On October 21, we visited the Space Needle and had the EXCELLENT Saturday brunch (they have Sunday brunch too, but we don't want to mess with Football Sunday, now do we?). Unless you want a romantic dinner, I recommend going for the Space Needle brunch. You can actually see what Seattle looks like, there aren't any surprises on the bill (fixed price menu), and you get this AMAZING starter platter that has all kinds of pastries, seafood, fruits and meats. Of course, the food was all sculptural and looked as good as it tasted. We took pictures....

This is what Nikki ordered off of the Kids' menu. Can you guess what it is?

Mac-N-Cheese, right? Wrong-o. Try again...

Yep, Space Needle Pasta! Clever, eh? Check out the Seafood Mixed Grill - shrimp, scallops, ahi tuna (my most favorite fish), and salmon (my second most favorite fish). Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm!

While the day started out overcast, it brightened up a bunch. We had a blast and the kids finally got to go up in the Space Needle. Yes, they've lived in Washington their whole lives (minus a few months in Virginia) and this is the FIRST time they've gone to the Space Needle.

Its true what they say...the locals never visit the tourist locations.
