So it's now 2007 and we are off to another new year. This holiday season has been trying, with all the changes that we've faced in 2006, but we managed to scrape through. We'll just ignore the fact that it took 2 weeks to decorate the tree upstairs (the kids helped) and I put the last decorations out just before my parents arrived from Pittsburgh (3 hours late, I might add). But we should pause to reflect on the things that occurred in 2006. All the good and all the bad, they are what make us who we are. Without the ups and downs, we wouldn't be able to overcome the potholes in life. And we wouldn't be able to really appreciate the things that we have.
So for 2007 we focus on the family, the health, and the happiness that we have with us. And we appreciate that we live in a part of the world that encourages us to pursue the dreams that we dare to dream possible. I hope that you may be able to realize one of those dreams in the coming year.
